Waste is not a material, it’s a mindset.

Your company has a waste impact, we help you take responsibility for it.

How it Works…

The waste offsets sold by Nu Cycle are converted into credits which are allocated to fund new relevant projects.  The amount of credits is determined by the amount and type of waste that the company needs to offset.  Nu Cycle selects the waste conversion partner and project based on the related waste stream - plastic, textile, bio waste, paper or glass. Once the whole pool of credits is allocated, from enough company and individual offsets, a new waste conversion project is launched.

No matter what business you are in, we can ensure that your waste footprint is offset and transformed into new sustainable resources. We do this with the following 4 steps:

Tonic Living’s Waste Journey:A Company Case Study

Stage 1

Waste Stream Data Collection. Two week onsite data collection at Tonic Living by weight and waste stream.

Stage 2

Nu Cycle  Assessment and Offset.
Waste streams are matched with relevant conversion partner technology and the monthly waste offset price is calculated for synthetic and natural textile materials.

Stage 3

Tonic Living’s offset credits are paired with our waste conversion partner project. Where the equivalent of their textile waste is removed from the environment in Indonesia and transformed into renewable fuel.

Stage 4

The waste to value process comes full circle when the Nu Cycled material is sold and a percentage of the profits are invested back into the local communities.
